LIGHT MOVES ADD SOME BOLD COLOR
Victoria's Chadstone Shopping Centre, owned
by the Gandel Group, is the largest satellite shopping centre in Australia. The
Gandel Group decided they wanted some form of signature lighting on the centre
and so they employed lighting consultants Simpson Kotzman to achieve such a
statement.
Gobos and projection work was considered
but eventually a big, bold colour statement that was relatively economical was
decided upon. One large section of wall was to be lit up every night in bright,
changing colours.
Lightmoves Pty Ltd were called in to
install four CityColors to achieve this task. Control was via a
Martin LightJockey with a Dynalite Bridge Node automating the system.
